Description
Rainbow chard makes this healthy salad beautiful
Ingredients
- 6 c Swiss chard, chopped
- 2 Pears, sliced or chopped
- 1⁄2 c walnut pieces or slivered almonds
- 2 T red wine vinegar
- 1 T olive oil
- 1 t prepared mustard
- 1 pn Salt and pepper
Instructions
Wash chard. Remove stems and tear into small pieces. Spread on a large plate or 4 individual plates. Add nuts and fruit.
Combine dressing ingredients and drizzle over chard.
Notes
You can vary the fruit with the season: early summer use strawberries, later raspberries and in late summer and fall use apples and pears. Always colorful and tasty.
